Polly Davenport became President of CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Ark. in January 2015 and CHI St. Vincent North in Sherwood, Ark. in March 2015.

She was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President in April 2016 for the health system. She also was named the CHI Star within our division in April 2016 for her work as a high performing leader within CHI, especially around building strong relationships with coworkers, physicians and community leaders.

Before joining CHI St. Vincent, Davenport was Chief Executive Officer at Ochsner Medical Center-North Shore Region, Slidell and Covington, La.

From 2009-2011, Davenport served as CEO of Val Verde Regional Medical Center in Del Rio, Texas. She has also held roles as Chief Nurse Executive and Vice President of Quality for Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, Texas and as Chief Nurse Executive for Methodist Healthcare System.

Davenport has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She completed a Masters of Business Administration at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. She earned a Doctorate of Science, Health Administration at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.

Davenport is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is a Fellow of the Johnson & Johnson/Wharton School of Business Nurse Executive Program.
